In Chisinau for the twelfth time the traditional “Vyshyvanka March” took place, gathering more than two hundred participants in Ukrainian folk costumes. Citizens of Ukraine and Moldova, diplomats and creative groups took part in the procession and festive program. The event was timed to coincide with the World Vyshyvanka Day, which is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of May. It is designed to emphasize the importance of cultural traditions and preserve Ukrainian identity.
